Job summary

The Production Manager is responsible of supervising the production team from scripts through to the end of the animation process, as well as post-production. He plans and organizes the work to do ensuring the deadlines are met and the budget is respected. He is also in charge of maintaining the level of motivation, good spirit and productivity amongst the team. He works closely with the VP, Production.


  • Gives input on the global production schedules and internal budgets.
  • Responsible for establishing the production methodology: pipeline, hierarchy and approval processes, daily tracking of production milestones.
  • Updates and circulates weekly production & post-production reports for VP, Production and clients.
  • Collaborating with the HR Director, actively participates in the recruiting process.
  • Knows the skillset of the team to be able to pivot and retask when challenges and work overload become apparent.
  • Supervises and ensures strong communication with the Coordinators and Department Supervisors.
  • Tracking and checking of payroll for production teams.
  • Based on the global production schedule, creates internal schedules and establish workflows and production quotas.
  • Manages and ensures that deliveries and approvals (internal & clients) are made based on the schedules.
  • Work closely with Database Coordinator to ensure that the database management system is optimized daily: inventory of material, episodes, characters, tracking of production workflow, etc.
  • Keep the VP, Production informed of any potential problem that could impact the efficiency of the production pipeline and/or established deadlines.

Additional experience and requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as Production Manager in animation production for TV series.
  • Very good knowledge of 2D digital animation methodology.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate people with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage teams.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Great verbal and written communication.
  • Good knowledge of Photoshop and other graphic arts applications.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good knowledge of Toonboom Harmony a plus.

We are looking for someone who knows 2D digital production, has great production coordination skills and an artistic eye!

Job summary

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Senior Production Coordinator oversees the work of the production team on the project, manages the schedule and ensures that the deadlines are met.

He supports the Production Manager in the many tasks related to the production. His main tasks are coordinating the teams’ workloads and keeping a good communication with the various departments. He must ensure that the deliveries are met as per the established schedules, keep track of the project and ensure a strong workflow, along with the Production Manager and the Supervisors.


  • Script coordination: formatting, tracking of the different versions, preparing the material for the voice recordings, follow-up of the pickups, conforming, breakdown;
  • Planning and coordinating on a daily basis the work of the departments, in cooperation with the supervisors and the Production Manager;
  • Participate in assigning tasks based on the availability of the resources of the Studio;
  • Communicate the right information to the pertinent people and ensure that it is well understood and applied on the project;
  • Provide support to artists : ensure that the deadlines are met for each task in order to meet the set department deadlines; ensure that the artists have access to the references and to the necessary material;
  • Plan and participate to all meetings concerning the progress of the project (scrum);
  • Follow the project schedules, anticipate any potential problems and inform the Production Manager, while bringing solutions in order to respect the deadlines;
  • Ensure a constant communication between the different departments;
  • Ensure that the server and Asset Management are well organized;
  • Implement and improve procedures in order to solidify the workflow through the pipeline;
  • Play a key role in keeping a good spirit and a positive atmosphere among the teams;
  • Provide support in quality control before delivering the material to post-production;
  • Ensure delivery of the different elements for approval to the client for the key production stages (designs, storyboards, animatics, etc.) and follow up on the requested corrections ;
  • Ensure that the Studio’s established procedures are followed and report non-compliance to the Production Manager and the HR Director ;
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Production Manager.


  • Five year experience in production coordination, ideally in 2D digital.
  • Good knowledge of Toonboom Harmony.
  • Strong knowledge of the 2D digital production pipeline.
  • Great ability to adapt and a strong capacity for multitasking.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented and determination.

Role summary

The 2D Digital Animator is responsible of animating the scenes of a 2D animation series which can include characters, backgrounds and props. He must create high-quality animation which respects the recommendations, revisions and technical and artistic requirements requested by the Animation supervisor, the Series Director and the Producer.


  • Degree in animation or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of Toonboom Harmony.
  • Good knowledge of 2D animation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and capacity to easily integrate into a collaborative team.
  • Creativity, rigorous and detail oriented.
  • Work efficiently within technical constraints and project deadlines.

The Layouts Artist role creates production layouts in Harmony in accordance with the method established by the production and referring to the key layouts provided for the scenes of a 2D animation series. He must respect the technical and artistic requirements coming from the Producer, the Layout Supervisor, the Director and the client.


  • Degree in animation or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of perspective and camera positioning.
  • Artistic vision, precision, rapidity and thoroughness.
  • Strong knowledge of Harmony.
  • Ability to work autonomously and capacity to easily integrate a collaborative team.
  • Work efficiently within technical constraints and project deadlines.
